About Us

Welcome to SRSPC

The story so far...

The doors flew open in 1987 - and over 30 years later - "My how we've grown!". We now have six physiotherapists, a remedial massage therapist, a podiatrist and five support staff that would do an AFL club proud!

Our excellent facilities include a fully equipped and staffed hydrotherapy pool, the perfect environment for rehabilitation following injury or surgical intervention.

Conditions we treat

Here at SRSPC we use proven techniques to offer relief from:

  • back pain

  • sciatica

  • headaches - arising from the neck

  • shoulder dysfunction

  • arm/elbow/wrist pain - arising from muscle dysfunction

  • joint sprains - such as knee and ankle ligament sprains

  • osteoarthritis - treatment usually incorporating hydrotherapy aims to relieve pain and improve joint function.

How Southern Rehabilitation & Sports Physiotherapy Centre can help you

Our friendly, expert team can help you by offering relief to your aches, stiffness and pain, and help you recover from injury. This is done by a combination of joint mobilisation, joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy, electrotherapy and exercises. At SRSPC this is supplemented with onsite hydrotherapy sessions. Onsite podiatry offers the further benefit of orthotics and foot care under the one roof.

Everyone at SRSPC understands the impact of pain on our daily lives. We offer extended hours so that you can make an appointment to suit your busy lifestyle. See yourself regaining mobility and strength as a physio assesses the cause of the joint, muscle or nerve injury and treats it accordingly. Treatment can combine muscle manipulation, exercise for rehabilitation, soft tissue work, podiatry, hydrotherapy, remedial massage, liaison with other health professionals and advice.

Making it easier for you

Our centre uses the HICAPS private health fund system, which enables us to process your claim directly with the fund. We are accredited with all private health funds, as well as the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Program, Veterans Affairs, TAC and WorkCover.
